Acrylic waterproof coating is a kind of one component water emulsion waterproof coating made of pure acrylic polymer lotion as binder and other additives. The waterproof film formed by the curing of waterproof coating has certain extensibility, elasticity, crack resistance, impermeability, and weather resistance, which can play a role in waterproofing, anti-seepage, and protection.
Waterproof coatings have good temperature adaptability, easy operation, and are easy to repair and maintain.

    Product Performance
    1. Solid content
Solid content refers to the proportion of solids contained in waterproof coatings. Due to the formation of a coating film by the solid components of the paint after application, the solid content is closely related to the thickness of the film and the quality of the coating film.
    2. Heat resistance
Heat resistance refers to the fact that the waterproof film formed by the waterproof coating does not soften or deform at high temperatures. Non flowing performance, i.e. high temperature resistance.
    3. Flexibility
Flexibility refers to the ability of the waterproof coating film to maintain its flexibility at low temperatures. It reflects the construction and usage performance of waterproof coatings at low temperatures.
    4. Impermeability
Impermeability refers to the performance of waterproof coatings under a certain water pressure (static or dynamic) and without leakage for a certain period of time. It is the main quality indicator for waterproof coatings to meet the requirements of waterproof function.
    5. Elongability
The ability of the extended waterproof coating to adapt to the deformation of the base layer. After the waterproof coating is formed, it must have a certain degree of extensibility to adapt to the deformation of the base caused by factors such as temperature difference, dryness and wetness, and ensure the waterproof effect.

    Construction Technology
Prepare the base layer before painting. The application of waterproof coating is closely related to the condition of the ground base. The more uneven the base, the more coating will be used. Therefore, before applying waterproof coating, it is best to perform a simple treatment on the base layer and try to make it as smooth as possible. Secondly, it is necessary to ensure that the ground is free of dust, dirt, and oil. You can carefully mop the floor with a mop to remove all the dust, otherwise it will cause cracking and peeling of the waterproof coating, affecting the waterproof effect. When choosing a product, the focus should be on its properties. There are various names of waterproof coatings available in the market, such as; Slurry; Mortar; Wait, there are also waterproof coatings divided into Type I and Type II. Some people say that Type II is more suitable for indoor use, but according to relevant professionals, the most important thing is to look at the properties of the waterproof coating, which is usually labeled as; Universal type; Still flexible type;, Then look at the ratio of mortar and lotion, such as 12kg+8. The product is also marked; Kitchen and bathroom specific;, Actually, this is just a gimmick. Ordinary indoor waterproof coatings can be used for kitchens and bathrooms.
Key points of waterproof coating construction
The continuous development and testing of waterproof materials have resulted in excellent performance of polymer cement waterproof materials. They are also relatively easy to construct and can last for a long time, usually around 20 years without any problems. I will share with you the specific construction tips here.
    1. Construction should be carried out under temperature conditions above 5 ℃, and it is not recommended to carry out construction due to expected precipitation within 24 hours.
    2. Painting should be done horizontally and vertically in a staggered manner, with an interval of 4 hours
    3. If there are special requirements for the coating, it may be considered to increase the number of times the surface layer is applied.
During construction, if the air humidity is particularly high and the temperature is low, the drying time should be appropriately extended.
If the temperature on the construction site is high, the amount of water can be appropriately increased during mixing to reduce the construction viscosity.
